This study aimed to determine the lifestyle and personality traits of contemporary dancers. Conducted in September 2016, it utilized a researcher-made questionnaire-checklist. The respondents of this study were 30 randomly selected contemporary dancers in Iloilo City. The statistical tools utilized to treat the gathered data were Mean, Rank, Mann Whitney U-Test and Kruskal-Wallis Test set at 0.05 level of significance. The top three personality traits of contemporary dancers when taken as an entire group and classified according to sex, age, and socio-economic status were: agreeableness, conscientiousness and openness. Moreover, the lifestyle of contemporary dancers when classified according to sex and age was moderately healthy. However, when classified as to socio-economic status, respondents with below P30,499 and P30,500 - P60,499 monthly income had moderately healthy lifestyle while those with P60,500 and above income had healthy lifestyle. There is no significant difference in the personality traits and lifestyle of contemporary dancers when they are taken as an entire group and when classified according to sex, age, and socio-economic status.
