Abstract
THE Sinulog Foundation Inc. (SFI) yesterday honored Dolores “Dolly” Suzara, 81, for her contribution to the Sinulog Festival. Suzara was one of the pioneer organizers of the Sinulog when it started in 1981. “She is the original Sinulog festival queen,” said SFI executive director Ricky Ballesteros. A plaque of appreciation signed by Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña, SFI chairperson, was given to Suzara. Even if she was on a wheelchair, Suzara personally received her award.
