Abstract
Barrios discusses both the workshop production of Project: Balangiga staged by the Ma-Yi Theater Company in Aug 2002 and the dramatists Ralph Pena's and Sung Rno's revised draft for a future full production of the play. She comments that the play does not only interrogate the writing of history but implies that people continue to be participants in a continuing dialogue, and that the play urges the audience to use history in analyzing contemporary events.
